Description: Use this table as a 60 round dining table or add the perimeter leaves and open table to 80 inches round. Get two formal round dining tables for the price of one! Color is perfect. Pie cut flame mahogany field with multiple satinwood banded inlays and round inlay in center.
Some people would call this a round Duncan Phyfe table because the leg style was originall designed by Duncan Phyfe. This is a popular and sought out style pedestal. Table has leaves which fit around the table to make a bigger round. This table was built in China. But the quality control and overall quality of this table is impressive. Nice formal round dining table for traditional decor and the table will take some punishment. Thick Veneers and a durable finish make this a great table for a high traffic formal or traditional dining space. Great table for Commercial space too.
This is a great table for the money, but it is not engineered and designed as well as other tables that cost more. So, if you looking for high end round tables, we can do better than this.
The table was inspected carefully, and we found only 3 minor flaws. 1 ding on base, see pictures above. 1 scratch on tables edge shown with a dime in picture above and if you open the table in its largest size, the table scores a 9 out of 10 for stability. Table will rock, left to right about 1/8" if you put your arms around it and twist but it is rock steady if you lean on the edge . I would not hesitate buying this table for any reason as it clearly passes the test for practical everyday use.
Matt finished lacquer is illustrated above. Look at the pictures above which show daylight relfecting back into camera. Table is not glossy.
